Sea Lion Island is part of the Falkland Islands. However, it is a 40-minute flight south of Stanley, on the main island.

Sea Lion Lodge

There is only one place for accommodation on Sea Lion Island, but that is ok because the lodge is excellent.
The rooms are not fancy, but they are clean and very nice. Anyway, you won’t spend time in your room except to sleep.
Meals are included with the lodge fee. Breakfast and supper are delicious and served in the dining room. Shortly after breakfast, you will receive a bag lunch. You can take your lunch and go exploring for the day.
You can book accommodations and flights to the island with ITT (International Tours and Travel).
When not out exploring or in your room or the dining room, there is a really nice lounge with lots of comfortable chairs and big windows. It also has a bar and a selection of books about the island and its wildlife.
The Lodge is open only in the summer months (northern winter),
Sea Lion Island was the highlight of our visit to the Falkland Islands. We saw five species of penguins, elephant seals and endemic birds that you will not see on the main islands. In addition, you will meet nice, like-minded travellers for great conversations and companionship.
