In addition to very nice accommodations and an excellent restaurant, Arbbusch has an extensive property that is full of birds. Arebbusch Travel Lodge is situated in one of the last remaining green spaces in Windhoek, and we do everything possible to maintain this status by protecting and caring for both the trees and the birds that call this property home. Watch the weaver birds building their nests right from your table in the restaurant.
They are the only accommodation in Windhoek that has two pages on its website about the birds on their property.
Arbusch is a great place to stay in Windhoek, offering nice accommodations, a relaxing pool, and excellent food, but it is particularly ideal for birding enthusiasts. If you are touring Namibia, you will probably start and end your journey in Windhoek. We recommend adding two additional days to your tour for birding at Arebusch.
