Part of the preparation for a birding trip is getting a good guidebook. We suggest buying your book well in advance of your trip. This gives you the opportunity to study the birds before you go. This will help with identification in the field. Another reason to buy before you go is the expense. Guidebooks in Canada for Australia and New Zealand cost almost half of what they cost in those very expensive countries. Also, there is the chance that the book you want may not be available at your destination for various reasons.
So click on the area you want to travel to and check out our list of bird guidebooks. Some of the guidebook pages are for members only. To become a member, click on the member’s page and join up. It is easy and free.
